GIFTS AND WISHES
We do not have any wishes and after 10 years, our household is luckily complete. :-) We are simply happy that you want to make the effort to travel and celebrate with us. That is our greatest gift. We always appreciate a card with words of wisdom from the heart, or an invitation to a homemade dinner. :-)
DRESSCODE
Ladies: Pack your favourite gowns! Festive attire is encouraged. Danish summer evenings can be cooler than expected for those of us used to mild summer evenings in Basel, and Hjorths’ stunning natural surroundings include sand, grass, and uneven ground. For maximum comfort and elegance from start to finish, we suggest bringing flats to change into whenever you wish or wear from start to bedtime. :-)
Gentlemen: Bring your favorite tuxedo/smoking, suit, tie or bow tie: dealer’s choice.
If the ever so unpredictable Danish summer weather permits, we would like to spend a lot of time in the gardens around Hjorths. If the sky decides to cry, all will be moved indoors. However, please check the weather and temperature before packing, this is the Danish North after all!
PARKING
There are parking spaces at the location.
PHOTOGRAPHY
We have a wonderful photographer, Stephanie, who will accompany us throughout the day, so you can relax and receive the photos as a memento afterwards. We kindly ask that you do not take any pictures during the ceremony - our professional photographer will take care of that. Pack your phones away, there will be plenty of chances to take photos afterwards. :-)
